The person behind the framework.
For more than two decades, Yasser Fathy has worked with one question at the center of his work:
What actually helps people create meaningful change—and make it last?
His journey has taken him from the corporate world to training rooms, speaking stages, and work with people across cultures and professions.
Along the way, one idea kept becoming clearer: change is easier to understand when we can step back, see the different elements shaping our lives, and recognize how they connect.
That pursuit eventually became The Six Circles Framework—and it continues to shape the work he is building today.
Twenty years of Six Circles. Decades of working with human change.

Creator of The Six Circles Framework
It began with a question.
After years of learning, teaching, and working with ideas about personal development, Yasser kept returning to the same problem: there was no shortage of useful ideas. What seemed to be missing was a way to connect them.
During a training session in 2006, that question came to a head.
As the discussion in the room intensified, years of accumulated experience suddenly came together. Yasser walked to the flip chart and drew six circles.
That was the beginning.
What started as a simple drawing in a training room became a framework he would spend the next two decades teaching, testing, applying, and refining.

Twenty years later, those six circles are still being drawn.
From one training room to people around the world.
What began with six circles drawn during a training session in 2006 did not remain there.

Over the following two decades, Yasser continued teaching, applying, and refining his work across different organizations, industries, professions, and cultures.
His training and consulting work has included organizations such as Coca-Cola, IBM, Pfizer, Mercedes-Benz, Citibank, and others.
The framework was never meant to stop at the page.
Six Circles began as a drawing in a training room. Over the next two decades, it grew through teaching, application, observation, and refinement.
Today, the work continues through books, speaking, training, and the continued development of the ideas and models that have grown around the framework.
The goal remains the same as it was at the beginning:
To make meaningful change easier to see, understand, and put into practice.
